MBs is 99% close to the max read speed of that drive. If I can't play back a project smoothly it makes editing a complete pain if I need to know down to a frame or two where I need to add or cut something. Great for storage, bad for editing from with playback demands even using proxy files if also using higher frame rates. My old WD blacks are 7,500rpm drives but the cache sizes are small. That is why I use a separate SSD for projects.
