It is dangerous to have one password that is used for everything because we need to remember our password for every different site. We really need a good password manager that is secure and easy to use on the mobile devices. Its modern-looking web client, strong security features, and wide device support are great showcases. Created in 2000, RoboForm is a veteran in the password management industry and does just that. Except, the Robo ap on Chrome stinks (it's a "lite" version). You can fire up Roboform, put in the pin, scroll to the credentials, fill in the master pw, and copy and paste both the pw and login name. Although RoboForm is not as visually appealing as Dashlane, it definitely beats it and any competitors on its pricing: aside from the free forever version, RoboForm can be experienced in its entirety during a 30-day risk-free trial and it costs as little as 1.25 per month to subscribe to the service. To change the time period, simply type in a number or click the up and down arrows to select a number of minutes. The number at the bottom shows the amount of minutes before Automatic Logoff. You can turn off Auto-Logoff by checking the box.
Say a form pops up on a page asking for login and pw. Automatic Logoff is the time period before RoboForm automatically logs you off. Given that, I don't see a lot of advantage in moving to 1Password. that's one of the gripes I have with Roboform.
